Matamata Swifts Association Football Club has been the local guardian of the most significant sport on the planet since 1930. We provide a rewarding and stimulating football experience for any person wishing it; competitive or social, senior, youth or junior, male or female.

Once a Swift, always a Swift – no matter where in the world we go! Football at the Swifts is a sport for all the family. This is evidenced by the different generations of people involved as members of our club. Football also brings with it a diverse and wide range of cultures not possible through any other sport.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

Matamata-Piako, Thames Valley and South Waikato youngsters can sign up for one of our Player Development Programmes. These programmes are run in partnership with Kaimai Rangers (football) and Ginga Futsal Academy (futsal).
