Matamata Swifts AFC and Te Aroha COBRAS Junior AFC have joined forces to create Kaimai Rangers – the new name for youth football in the East Waikato.
Kaimai Rangers will enter teams in WaiBOP Football Federation’s U14 and U13 Y-Leagues in the 2025 season.

- Wednesday October 23 at Boyd Park, Te Aroha (4.30pm to 5.45pm).
- Monday October 28 at Boyd Park, Te Aroha (4.30pm to 5.45pm).
- Wednesday October 30 at the Matamata Domain, Matamata (4.30pm to 5.45pm).
- Sunday November 3 at the Matamata Domain, Matamata (10am to 11.30am).

AGE REQUIREMENTS
- The Kaimai Rangers U14 team is open to players born in 2011 & 2012.
- The Kaimai Rangers U13 team is open to players born in 2012 & 2013.
Dispensations can be granted for players born in 2010 who wish to play for the U14 team. Please complete the registration form, then contact us HERE, if your child would like to be considered for a dispensation.

Based at the Matamata Domain and Pohlen Park, Matamata Swifts AFC currently has 420+ registered senior, youth and junior playing members.
Based at Boyd Park, Te Aroha COBRAS is a junior football club offering football for 140+ children aged 4 to 13 years.
The two clubs have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to work together in the youth football space.
