Stanley Joinery Matamata Swifts have the weekend off ahead of their end of season double-header against Cambridge, so the title chasing Swifts Reserves take centre stage this Saturday. The 1st placed Reserves travel to play 2nd placed Ngaruawahia in a game that both sides must win if they hope to win Waikato Division A. The match kicks off at 1pm at Centennial Park, Ngaruawahia.
On Sunday, the Challenge Matamata Swifts Ladies finally have another game when they travel to play Cambridge in their final league match of the season. Kick-off is at 11am at John Kerkhof Park.
The Matamata Sports World U-17s don’t have a game as the bulk of the side are heading to Whangarei with Matamata College’s 1st XI, who have a national school boy tournament beginning on Monday.
The junior season is drawing to a close. Three of our nine junior teams are at home this weekend as they play matches in their various Waikato Junior leagues. This weekend is the final Mini-Kickers session for the winter season.
