Only one senior team is in action this weekend, when Comag Matamata Swifts travel to play Rotorua United in the Loaded WaiBOP Premiership (2.45pm kick-off at Neil Hunt Park).
Richardson Racing Stables Matamata Reserves have the weekend off before playing their final match next Saturday, while both the Swifts A team and Challenge Matamata Ladies have finished their seasons.
The Swifts futsal team plays HSU at 8.15pm on Sunday evening.
The junior season wraps up on Sunday with Junior Prizegiving at the Domain, starting at 11am. We have several junior teams entered in tournaments over the following weekends, however, so they’re not completely done with football.
