Stanley Joinery Matamata Swifts have notched their second consecutive victory with a comfortable win at Gower Park.

Andrew and Lawrence Clothier each scored during a strong first half performance by the Swifts, while the side also had the luxury of missing a penalty when Bjorn Vossen fired wide.

While the victory margin should probably have been larger, the win was the most important thing to bring home from Hamilton. The young Swifts side is reasonably settled now and starting to play with a bit of confidence.

With the side not giving away a penalty this week young Jordan Wise recorded his first clean sheet for the Swifts.
