The Swifts futsal club has been set up to help grow the indoor version of our game right here in Matamata.

Term 1, 2025 – Local Futsal Leagues
Draws for term 1, 2025:
Games begin on February 24 (Primary) and February 25 (Intermediate).
- Games are played at the Headon Events Centre, Pohlen Park.
- All primary school grades will play on Monday afternoons.
- All intermediate school grades will play on Tuesday afternoons.

Kaimai Rangers Futsal Academy
This six week, futsal development programme is open to players in two age groups – U15 and U12 – and is run in association with Tauranga-based GINGA FUTSAL ACADEMY.

Programme details
- Venue: Headon Stadium.
- Session times: U12 (6.30pm to 7.30pm) & U15 (7.35pm to 8.35pm).
- Dates: Tuesdays – February 18 to March 25, 2025.
- Cost: $90 for 6 sessions.
- Group size: Limited to a maximum of 15 players.
