The Queen’s Birthday long weekend sees our club’s playing schedule cut dramatically.
The Stanley Joinery Matamata Swifts and the Swifts Reserves are still in action, but the Challenge Matamata Swifts Ladies, Sportsworld Matamata Swifts U-17 and our 8th to Open Grade junior teams all get the weekend off.
The Swifts travel to Hamilton to play HRFC – Clube, the side just above them on the WaiBOP Federation League Division 1 table. The Swifts reserves are at home where they host a Ngaruawahia United side who sit top of Waikato Division A. Both games kick off at 2.45pm.
Our mini-kickers programme is also still running this Saturday. Our youngest players will be at the Domain from 9am to 10am.
