Waikato Stud Matamata Swifts host NRFL Division 1 side, Waiuku AFC, this weekend in the latest round of the ASB Chatham Cup. Waiuku play their football two levels higher than the Swifts, so it will be a great test to see how the Swifts have developed over first few weeks of the season.

It’ll also be nice for the Swifts to finally play another home game, having not graced the Domain since April 4. With nothing to lose and a spot in the next round of NZ’s most well known knock-out cup competition up for grabs, could the Swifts spring an upset? You’ll have to be at the Domain tomorrow to find out.

The match kicks off at 2pm. Click here to view a digital version of this weekend’s club magazine.

Richardson Racing Stables Swifts Reserves have another weekend due to their scheduled opponents, Kawerau Sports, also having an ASB Chatham Cup fixture to fulfil.

On Sunday, the Challenge Matamata Swifts Ladies host Cambridge in their latest Waikato Ladies Division B fixture. Also up for grabs in this match is the newly launched Carter Memorial Women’s Challenge Cup (click here for more information on that). The ladies have adapted well to life in Division B and will be looking to press on with another win, as well as retain the cup for another week. The match kicks off at 11am at the Domain.

Weather allowing, it will be a big morning at the club with most of our junior teams scheduled to play at home. Click here to find out the kick off times for our junior teams.

Our mini-kickers programme for 4th to 7th Grade children will run at the Domain from 9am to 10am. Click here for more information.
