The club has another full weekend of football but much of it is away from the Domain.

The Stanley Joinery Matamata Swifts are the only senior side in action at home. They host Taupo AFC in their latest Federation League Division 1 match on Saturday. Kick-off is at 2.45pm. The Swifts Reserves head to Waikato University for the second Saturday in a row. This time they’re in Print House Waikato Cup action as they play Unicol C. Kick-off is at 12.30pm.

Only three of our nine junior teams, along with our mini-kickers, are at home on Saturday morning. Two of these sides, the 11th Grade Hornets and 9th Grade Dragons, will look to continue their fine early season form. You can click on the respective junior team’s page to find out where they’re playing, or click here for a draw summary for all our teams.

On Sunday the Challenge Matamata Swifts Ladies head to Gower Park in Hamilton to take on Melville United in a top of the table clash. The two sides sit level on points at the top of the Waikato Ladies C division with Matamata leading on goal difference. Kick-off is at 11am.

The SportsWorld Matamata Swifts U-17 have their longest trip of the season. They venture eastwards to take on Whakatane at Rex Morpeth Park. Kick-off is at 1pm.

Wherever you are this weekend we hope you enjoy your football and are among the goals.
