The Swifts have the weekend off ahead of the start of the 2014 Federation League season, but both the reserves and Swifts Ladies are in action as they gear up for the big kick-off.
On Saturday the reserves travel to Cambridge for their final pre-season friendly. After a promising first up effort against Tokoroa, they will be looking to tighten things up while still giving as many players as possible a run ahead of their first league game next weekend. Kick-off is at 12.30pm.
The Swifts Ladies travel to Hamilton on Sunday to play Melville United in their final hit out. Numbers have been great and the team has been training well as they look ahead to an improved season in 2014.
