It’s a relatively quiet weekend for our senior teams, with both the Swifts Reserves and Challenge Matamata Swifts Ladies having their games postponed until later in the season.
The Stanley Joinery Matamata Swifts travel to Tauranga to play the unbeaten Old Blues. Their hosts are the league’s draw specialists, while the Swifts have drawn two of their last three. The match kicks off at 2.45pm at Wharepai Domain.
We also have the usual selection of matches for our Junior teams, who are entering the Preliminary League stage of their season with games across the Waikato. Our Mini-Kickers group, as always, are at the Domain from 9am to 10am.
On Sunday, the Matamata Sports World Under-17s head to Hamilton’s Porritt Stadium to take on Wanderers White at the earlier than usual time of 11am.
