With the schools still on holiday our junior and youth team have another weekend off. But don’t worry folks, there are still some decent games of football to look forward to this weekend.
The Stanley Joinery Matamata Swifts host Otumoetai on Saturday. The Swifts lost 3-0 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, but are on a fine run of form so will hope to avenge that result. The match kicks off at 2.45pm at the Domain.
Also on Saturday the Swifts Reserves travel to play last placed Huntly Thistle in their latest Waikato Division A match. The reserves beat Huntly 3-0 at the Domain earlier in the season and need something similar to keep their title charge going. The match kicks off at 2pm.
On Sunday the Challenge Matamata Swifts Ladies host Melville United knowing that a victory will secure the Waikato Ladies Division C title. If you’re about please come along and support the ladies. The match kicks off at 11am at the Domain.
