A quiet old weekend is in store for the Domain with all our senior teams playing away from home and our youth and junior teams having a school holiday break.

Stanley Joinery Matamata Swifts travel to Links Ave in Mt Maunganui to take on second placed Tauranga City United. The Swifts have been travelling extremely well over the last month or so and are on a run of three wins in a row, but Tauranga will be a stern test. The match kicks off at 2.45pm on Saturday.

The Swifts Reserves head in the opposite direction. They’re in Hamilton for their Print House Waikato Cup quarter-final against Hamilton Wanderers. Wanderers currently sit joint top of Waikato Division A with Matamata and Ngaruawahia so this will be a huge test. The match kicks off at 1.30pm at Porritt Stadium, Hamilton.

On Sunday the Challenge Matamata Swifts Ladies are in Cambridge for their latest Waikato Ladies Division C match. The Swifts Ladies are on the brink of securing the title but another win against a side they only beat 2-1 at the Domain earlier in the season will be a challenge, albeit one they’re most certainly up for. The match kicks off at 11am at John Kerkhof Park, Cambridge.
