Senior Men
Matamata Swifts is delighted to announce our senior men’s coaching team for the 2014 season. Chris Powell has been appointed as the men’s first team coach. He will be assisted by Thomas Campbell with Richard Underwood taking over from Dave Taylor as the team’s manager. Ronan Costello and Rob Cox have been appointed to look after the men’s reserve team.
We will be holding a meet and greet session at this Saturday’s ASB Youth League match. We encourage all current, potential and curious first team, reserve team and under-19 players to come along and meet our new coaching team.
Pre-season training will begin on Tuesday January 28 at the Domain. The second session will be held on Tuesday February 4 at the Domain. Regular twice weekly training sessions will start from Tuesday February 11. All sessions will start at 6.30pm so players should allow adequate time prior to get ready.
