Covid has a lot to answer for – not least of which is its impact on the 2021 football season.
To confirm – the regular season for our junior teams and our Mini-Kickers programme is now over.
It also looks like we’ll be lucky to see any of the scheduled post-season festivals happen, too.
Here’s a summary of what’s on (and not on) during the remainder of term 3.
- Saturday September 18: Rotorua Festival. CANCELLED
- Saturday September 25: Waiariki Girls Only Festival, Rotorua. CANCELLED
- Sunday September 26: Waikato Junior 5-a-side (we have five teams entered). CANCELLED
- Friday October 1: Junior prizegiving for our 8th to 12th Grade teams. This will be a virtual event run through our Facebook page. A schedule will be published in advance of this event.
